Feeding Tubes - A $15 donation marked for this purpose will help save the life of a newborn raptor. .
Hill's Feline Science Diet (KITTEN) - This is used for the mainstay diet of almost all the animals and birds that come into rehabilitation. It is fed moistened to many birds and mammals and is liquefied, along with other ingredients, to make baby bird formula.
Esbilac and KMR Milk Replacement Formulas - Available at Pets Mart stores or Pet Shops. (Powder or Liquid)
(Human) Baby Food - plain meat - Chicken - Any Brand, such as Gerber or Heinz. We use this in our baby bird formula.
Bird Seed - Any and all kinds.
Towels (with no fringe) - These are used on the bottom of most of the bird pens and are changed and washed daily. Terry cloth towels are perfect. They can be dishcloth size or larger bath size.
Cotton Baby Receiving Blankets - Good for little critters to cuddle in.
Rectangular plastic terrariums with lids, any size - These are available at most pet stores or Wal-Mart. These are used as a first stop living quarters for many newborns.
Heating Pads - These are very important and many are needed. They are placed under plastic terrariums, glass aquariums, and other containers to keep the heat constant for newborns and injured birds.
